The study of architecture TAKA has been responsible for remodeling a Victorian house located in Dublin, Ireland. In fact, there are two new houses that bind two generations of one family.

In this construction, adding a new brick house with another outstanding Victorian style house that already exists. They are two separate buildings, which house two different generations of the same family, which are connected at the rear of the house by a garden in common use.

The new house was built in the backyard of a renovated Victorian house, and also inspired by this design style. The existing home is the residence of parents, while the new building was built to be the abode of one of his daughters.
On the facade were used two different patterns, which were chosen by the mason who performed the work, inspired by Victorian brick house, and giving it a very striking appearance outside the home.

One of the architectural drivers in this project is based on family memories, keeping this line through both houses. The social rituals of the family are what give tangible form to the design of new homes.
