A very easy and effective way to improve your home decor is to give an exotic touch. Give an exotic touch to an interior becomes a place without much effort or a soda or impersonal room in eclectic and original. But what the exotic decor style?
The exotic decor style really does not respond to a defined term. For anyone understand exotic furnishings based on the indigenous crafts of cultures remote from our (India, Africa, the pre-Hispanic America, Indonesia and Oceania, the Far East …). This definition takes into account an incredible variety of technical and decorative solutions: exotic can be a traditional Mexican wrought iron head, or a wooden table from a tree native African, or a hand-made tiles in India, or table intricately carved Tunisian coffee, etc. When decorating your home for exotic there are only two rules:
What to do?
Let your imagination. There are no defined rules, but a successful formula initially would decorate every room in the house with a sober (minimalist, functional, neutral, classic) and then enter in each room one or two exotic furniture, which are based on how (size, location) can give a special touch to the space or even be the center of the decoration. Another way is to raise exotic decor of your home design from the start imitating solutions for every need of a culture with which you feel comfortable with: Aztec style vivid colors (red and green next to one another, tropical fruit bowls …), Japanese Zen style (orchids, low furniture, white lacquered wood, blinds …), the ancient India (gold and saffron accents with bright oranges and fuchsias …). In this case, keep in mind the importance of not more than two styles mixed in the same house. Perhaps you are able to successfully combine more than two primary colors when dressing?
What to avoid at all costs?
Overreach adding too many elements. Think of each piece of furniture, every curtain, carpet, wall, etc. interacts with other elements of their environment. If you put a lot of furniture of different styles together in one place all I get is that your house look like an antique shop. Many times something more subtle is more attractive than something too baroque.
Another example you can take to create an exotic decoration is to use the mirror frames, which are one of the easiest furniture to transform and support any idea lined wallpaper, catch up with tiles, using imitations of precious metals … I same goes for the lamp: a lamp suitable transforms a room. Special case are the elements textiles (carpets, curtains ….) As well as plants that are ideal complements: the complement palm plants or micronesica tropical decor, bonsai has just taken a special touch to a Japanese stay … In all cases it is improvised and made hand painted furniture, objects that have different functions to the original …
